Today we went to our friends' daughter's birthday party. Her name is Kennedy and we've known her since she was a newborn. She's just such a sweet, outgoing girl who loves giving hugs. She turned 4 today and had a princess party filled with pizzas, a pinata, and presents. We had fun hanging out with our friends and watching all the kiddos have fun playing with each other. Throughout the party I couldn't help thinking of Emerson and how we'll be going to parties like these together once she comes home. Once she comes home....
